A bridge between Singapore innovation
and U.S. clinical access
ABOUT
NUHTA is a structured acceleration program developed in partnership with and funded by the National University Health System (NUHS) of Singapore. It gives select HealthTech companies a direct pathway into HTA's coalition of U.S. hospital and health system partners, providing the clinical studies and real-world evidence they need to enter the U.S. market.
HTA has spent over a decade building the relationships and infrastructure that make guaranteed U.S. clinical engagement possible. NUHTA brings that capability to some of the most promising Singapore-based HealthTech companies.
Program structure
How it works
Each company in the cohort receives six integrated tracks of support, delivered over the course of the program year.
Education
A structured curriculum covering U.S. market entry, regulatory pathways, clinical study design, reimbursement strategy, and commercialization fundamentals.
Introductions to Investors & Pitch Days
HTA facilitates direct introductions to U.S. investors and coordinates structured pitch opportunities for each cohort company. These connections are informed by each company's fundraising strategy and stage, helping founders build relationships with investors who are actively deploying capital in healthcare innovation and are supportive of companies incorporated in Singapore.
U.S. Strategic Plan Development
1:1 sessions with deeply experienced SMEs in the MedTech and HealthTech sectors for the development of strategic plans for reimbursement, regulatory, clinical, commercialization and fundraising.
Beyond the Pilot: A Path to Commercial Adoption
Pilots aren't just validation exercises. When a solution demonstrates measurable value during a clinical engagement, it opens the door to a longer-term commercial relationship with the pilot site. U.S. hospitals that see real results, whether in clinical outcomes, operational efficiency, or cost savings, have a direct pathway to procure and implement the solution on an ongoing basis. While outcomes vary, HTA's clinical network is built around health systems that are actively seeking innovation, making them not just pilot partners but potential first customers.
Clinical engagement
Facilitated pilot projects and clinical trials with HTA's U.S. clinical partner coalition. Each company completes at least one clinical study during the program, fully funded by NUHS.
Dedicated & Very Experienced Clinical Trial Manager
Each cohort company is supported by a dedicated, U.S.-based clinical trial manager with deep experience in medical device and HealthTech studies. This role serves as a bridge between the company and the clinical site, coordinating study logistics, supporting protocol development, and helping ensure that trials are conducted in compliance with FDA and GCP requirements. The goal is to reduce the study burden on both the company and the site, so clinical engagements move forward efficiently.
Why HTA
Not introductions. Execution.
Many programs connect companies to health systems. HTA goes further: we manage the U.S. clinical engagement end-to-end, so companies bypass the time-consuming and expensive effort of developing clinical partners.
